Made from Coconut Husk
Kitticoco is crafted from coconut husk, a by-product of coconut farming that would otherwise go to waste. By utilising this discarded material, Kitticoco helps reduce agricultural waste and provides a renewable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional cat litter. The husk is naturally fibrous and absorbent, which makes it an ideal base for cat litter.
Weight Comparison:
Each Kitticoco brick weighs just 200g to 220g. When hydrated with warm water, the brick expands to create a soft, lightweight, and effective litter
Traditional clay-based cat litter, typically made from sodium bentonite, is much heavier. A 5kg bag of clay litter is equivalent to about 25-30 bricks of Kitticoco, making Kitticoco a far more lightweight option to handle, store, and dispose of.
Pellet-based litters (often made from wood, corn, or wheat) vary in weight, but are still typically heavier than Kitticoco. A 5kg bag of pellet litter weighs roughly the same as 25-30 Kitticoco bricks. Additionally, the larger size of pellets can be bulkier and less efficient in terms of space.
No Chemicals, No Odours
Kitticoco is completely free from chemicals, additives, and synthetic fragrances. Unlike traditional clumping clay litters, which often contain harmful chemicals like silica dust or sodium bentonite, Kitticoco uses only natural coconut husk fibers. It’s a chemical-free, organic product that is completely safe for both your cat and the environment.
Kitticoco naturally prevents odours through its superior absorbency. The coconut husk fibers are treated with bicarbonate of soda (a natural odour-neutraliser) to further reduce smells. This ensures that your cat’s litter box stays fresh without the need for artificial fragrances or harsh chemicals.
Thanks to the high absorbency and natural properties of coconut husk, Kitticoco does not emit any strong or unpleasant odours, either from ammonia or decomposition. LET'S SEE ALL STEPS
How Can I Prepare?
STEP 01
Carefully position a single 220g Kitticoco brick right at the center of a standard litter tray, ensuring it is evenly placed for optimal absorption and effectiveness.
STEP 02
To rehydrate and decompress the Kitticoco brick, use 230ml (approximately 8oz) of warm water. Wait for 30 seconds. Important: Do not add any more water. 230ml is all that is required to rehydrate the brick, and the litter will be soft and dry.
STEP 03
Break up the Kitticoco into a soft, dry bed of litter with your hands. Total preparation time one to two minutes.. One brick is sufficient for a standard-sized litter tray. For bigger trays, use two bricks
STEP 04
Take out solids daily, just like with standard cat litter. For fluids, there are no clumps to remove. The coconut fibres in Kitticoco absorb fluids and keep them contained. Refresh the litter weekly
